1. Scope of Application
These Terms of Service apply to all contracts between Linki Tools (hereinafter "Provider") and the user (hereinafter "you") regarding the use of the Rightkey service.
2. Service Description
Rightkey is a web application for tracking music practice that:
- Records and manages your practice sessions
- Provides a personal music piece library
- Enables uploading and storing sheet music files
- Offers statistics about your practice progress
The service is currently offered free of charge.
3. Content Ownership
Your Ownership
- Your Practice Data: You retain complete ownership of all data you enter (practice sessions, music pieces, notes).
- Uploaded Files: All uploaded sheet music files belong to you.
Our Limited Operational License
You grant Rightkey only the rights necessary to operate the service:
- Storing your content in our database
- Displaying within the platform
- Creating backups for data security
What We Will Never Do
We will never use your content for:
- Marketing or advertising
- Sharing with third parties
- Any commercial purpose
4. Registration and Account
- Registration requires a valid email address.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- One account per person.
5. Free Usage
The service is currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid premium features in the future. Existing free features will not become paid retroactively.
6. User Obligations
When using Rightkey, you agree to:
- Use the service only for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Not upload any illegal or copyrighted content
- Not abuse the service or interfere with its operation
7. Availability and Warranty
- We strive for high service availability but cannot guarantee it.
- We reserve the right to develop and improve the service.
8. Limitation of Liability
- We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence.
- For slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable, typical damages.
- Liability for data loss is limited to typical recovery costs.
- These limitations do not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
9. Termination
- You can delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate the account for violations of these Terms.
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to Terms
- We may change these Terms with reasonable notice.
- Changes will be communicated via email or in the app at least 4 weeks before taking effect.
- For significant changes, you may terminate the contract.
11. Final Provisions
- German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
- The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
- We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
